Cowskin Djembe from Guinea w/ padded case!

This is headed with cow skin rather than goat and comes from the same series of Guinea shells as the shells for sale below. Cowskin stays tuned higher longer, is more durable, and tends to sounds warmer than goat skin. This drum is tuned up tight and high, so it's also "faster" (hands rebound faster on tight cow, thus the hands also get a little faster on rolls etc.)

We just received 50 new shells. They are made of various woods. These shells cost $175 (rings and rim shaping are extra) or you can have Shorty custom build one into a Djembe for $350.
